I'll take 'er easy until the PCM is done, especially with the weather we've been having (not that I'd be driving in the rain due to the leaking sunroof).

I think I'll take the Solo I driving school in the spring to better learn how to handle my car.

Next mechanical upgrade:  Brakes.   Are the Beretta's the way to go, or are they really heavy and something lighter would be better???

Cheers, Derek

I like the Beretta style they work well and are cheaper to buy than Fiero brakes. The first year my 3800SC Fiero was on the road I went through 3 sets of Fiero rotors they kept warping trying to slow down from my high speed runs. Since I changed over I have had no trouble stopping. Dan

What is the size difference between the Fiero and the Berretta's?

It's suppose to rain tomorrow, so weather permitting, I'm going to see about coming out tonight if you're going to be around.

Ah...she was fun to drive home.  Smiley  Ok, I took it easy and drove fairly slow, but it was still fun.  Then again, I always feel that way behind the wheel.

I can't wait to take her for a good hard drive on a nice sunny afternoon!  That'll likely have to wait for spring though.

The sound deadener makes a bit of a difference...or it could be the new cam and stuff...but it sounds like more of a deeper growl than the higher-pitched sound the engine made before.

She has some noticeable extra pep...not that I really tried.  Next is the programming of the computer.  I may just wait until the 3" pulley is installed before doing that.

Thank you Dan!  As always, you have done a wonderful job!

You should have picked her up this afternoon that way you could of met another Kingston 3800SC Fiero owner. he dropped off his car for me to do some work on it. Very nice Fiero that has a 3800SC with a lot of work done to it including an intercooler and is all bolted up to a heavily modded 5 Speed Getrag. Dan

Getting the PCM programmed tomorrow morning.  Leaving the house at 6:00 AM.   Cry

Hope to make it for the ride in the afternoon!!!!  Fingers crossed I make it in time.  If not, just leave some food out for me to eat and a cot to nap on.   Afro

Yes he is in the middle of moving in so the car is here being checked over and keep out of his way till he is ready for it. Will see if I can find out which intercooler it is and where he got it from. If you get a chance drop by and see it for your self. Dan

Bad day.  Long story short, while getting my PCM tuned, a piece of weatherstripping that runs along the back window fell into the motor (I meant to fix the damn thing) and took out a belt.  My car is a few hours away out of province for the week as a result.    Cry

That'll teach me.  I saw it coming.  Too bad as the tune was coming along so nicely.  The mods you did Dan were really, REALLY coming together!

Oh well.  It'll all be good.

Cheers, Derek
