Ever start the day a bit slow and regret the inability to make a swift decisive move to increase your herd of toys?    Roll Eyes

How dumb am I?   Don't hurt your fingers in an attempt to answer quickly.

Saturday means I get to be wheelman for the garage sale tour.  Well, we stopped at the second one and they had a home made mini bike turned chopper.  Not one of those China jobbies, but a real old style mini bike.  Extended front forks ,homemade coffin tank, diamond plate steel seat, 2 inch long exhaust stub... you get the idea.  Sign said it needed a carb kit as the diaphram leaked.  I looked at that sucker for a long time.  I knew it wouldn't fit in the truck, but still it was pretty cool.

Went back to the truck and asked the wife if she thought I should get it.  "Another piece of crap to sit in the yard" and a dirty look.  I said well on the way home if it's still there I'm grabbing it.  3257 yard sales later (and two grocery stores) we drive by.

Was it there?   Pffffffft  I don't think so!   Cry

For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing Gary...until you went back!

I'll bring it back with me when I drop off the Blue Thingy.  Wink

Cheers, Derek

PS  I have a lot of "pride" in that "gay" blue and gold car.   Cheesy

You must... you "parade" around in it often enough.   Grin

Before anyone asks, no we do not have a new two-wheeled toy.   Smiley

BUT...  I am thinking about converting one of the bikes from carb's to MPFI.  Believe it or not, the hardest part appears to be designing a common intake manifold to fit within the space available without creating a breathing problem.  Cheesy
