Im working on disassembling my old 2.8 but I cant seem to figure out how to disconnect the fuel injectors from the fuel rails. I can see the little tangs that hold the injectors into the fuel rails but I cant figure out how it unhooks.

The Haynes manuel in its infinite wisdom instructs me to a: remove injectors and then b: remove fuel rail...

Any thoughts?

on my 3.8 its little ring clips that you have to pull back, that frees them up and then you just pull.  the O-rings hold it together tight, so I had to pull hard.

You have to turn the clip half way to the right (unscrew)
