both of my wires that hold the trunk so that it doenst fully open have snapped.. my trunk is now misaligned badly, my guess from over extending repeatedly, what should I do?

Remove the vent panels, close the decklid, loosen the two bolts which attach each hinge to the lid, adjust as necessary, tighten bolts.  Repeat with the four nuts which fasten each hinge to the firewall brackets if needed.

You can easily improvise a pair of new limiter straps with lengths of light chain, braided cable, etc.
