It's nice to be able to read all of the postings on this site and find out what can and shouldn't be done to our plastic fantastic cars!!  Back in the days when I used to Race mine there wasn't all that much in performance and mods being offered for the car.  Perhaps a chip...which didn't do anything for performance but put me into a modified class, a lowering kit by "suspension techniques" and a center force clutch!!!  The car had an original 4 speed in it which didn't last long....it got upgraded to the newer 5 speed getrag....which didn't last long either!!!  Now I find myself 20 yrs later and finally getting the car running again.  But WOW!!!!  Lots of new mods and techniques being used to make them faster and handle better.....almost mind boggling!!!  Anyway, it's nice to see all the pictures of the cars still alive and I'm looking forward at some point to finally drive mine again this summer and put some faces to all the members on this site!!! I'm the original owner of my 85 GT which reads only 32,000 km's on the odometer and believe it or not.....now has an automatic in it thanks to the "Fiero factory" in Toney, Alabama.  They brought it back to life for me after sitting in my garage for over 20 yrs untouched!!

I can't tell if your local or not (although you inferred it) but if you are.....isn't it amazing how you find things on the internet?  A bunch of local guys doing cool things all willing to converse with you and help you.

See you this summer.

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision.  But to have vision alone leaves the process idle.  Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.

Yup....it's great to be able solve problems through other peoples experiences via the internet!!!  I'm from the Gatineau Hills and if you consider that "local"...then I'm local!!!  When the car was new I used to race slalom with the Motorsport Club of Ottawa and always did the racing schools at Sanair Race track.  I'm planing on getting it back on the track this summer at Calabogie....but mostly looking forward to the red light to red light racing blowing away whatever I can!!!  Lol...
