hey all, so im doing a 3400 turbo swap into my 86 gt fiero.  Just waiting for some more funds to put the engine back together although in the meanwhile i was looking at the tranny that was in the car and it dosnt seem to shift into any gears.  I was hoping to pick up na spec clutch although I want to make sure the 4 speed still works otherwise i'll just grab a 5 speed. Any ideas on how to see if its not blown? Heard something about the shift box?!

thx

You should be able to put it into all five gears.  What have you done to try and get it into gear?  You shouldn't have any trouble putting it in by hand.  If you have some bad synchros you might have to spin the input shaft while you put it into gear.

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision.  But to have vision alone leaves the process idle.  Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.
