Does anybody know off hand what thread or fitting is on the end of the brake flex hoses? I'm talking about the end that attaches to the hard line not the caliper.

They are metric nuts for 1/4" hard tube with bubble flair. I'm not sure knowing the thread will do you any good, but I have some spare nuts in my garage...........M10x1.0
If I'm not mistaken that's the same thread as the banjo bolt into the caliper. Figures.
