Remember that electric supercharger that everyone thought was a scam?

Well back in 1958, the Brits were advertising the Chatwin Rotary Atomizer.  It was a fan that went into the carb throat to force more air in.   Evil   Afro

It's not really a scam.  It's just not practical and the charger is not usually sized properly for the motor.
