I thought Series III was a bit more different to do for a fiero... or am I wrong.  I am just thinking, when I want to swap the motor in my car, I will probably have you do it Dan, but that might not be till next year, as money would be an issue for this year.  But is Series III just the same as II for a swap?

Also, switching the car from an Auto to a Standard is another thing I want to do.. I don't know whats involved except for getting a tranny, linkage, and peddals.

The series III has the better super charger and fly by wire throttle control that can either be used or a series II throttle body can be used to get it back to a cable controled throttle.
For switching to a manual it is not that hard when you have the engine and tranny out it is just a matter of switching the pedals and adding the clutch hydraulic components. Dan

The wreckers was wrong the Impalla SS is an 04 and has the series II with just under 105,000 km on it. Every thing is still intact and they want $2,000 for the set up of the engine with all its accessories, the tranny, wiring harness and PCM.
This is about normal for the prices of these engines with around 100,000 km or so.
Also found a 99 SSEi in the wreckers near Napanee if any one is interested not sure of the mileage yet but should be able to get the complete set up for around $1,000. Dan
