After many hours of fun finally got the 5 speed Getrag out and home, now time to clean it up check it all over and prep it for mounting up against my nice little 3800SC in my Fiero. Should make for some fun driving once its all done. Dan

What's that? You're going to have a car with the correct number of pedals in it for once?   Tongue

Its funny I figured I would get dickmans kit for using a FWD Getrag but once I got it home and looked it over I think I will save a $100 USD and just make my own from what I see there is nothing to it. Just a matter of a little redesigning to make it all work plus having a mig and specs on the shift lengths of both Getrags plus lots of 4 speed parts laying around. Dan

One five speed Isuzu shifter, one set of 84 4 speed cables a little metal and three hours equals one nice shifting FWD Getrag for a Fiero. Dan

Wouldn't let Lloyd touch my lawn mower let alone my Fiero. There is a guy on the Ont Que GTP club out of Toronto that is good and has already done two for me so far with no problems. As for a clutch haven't made my mind up one that yet. Dan

Got two PCM's done by Lloyd so far and both were bad one was returned for warranty which he honoured but took six weeks turn around to get the PCM back. Other time gave up and got the guy I now use to redo it properly. Funny tho isn't how if you insult one of a few on Pennocks you get banned very fast and there is always some one praising thier work as better than every one elses. Dan

That's one reason I hardly ever go to PFF anymore.  Can't stand some of the people!

Aren't politics great?  Just when you thought they were limted to governments & town councils, along come car forums...    Undecided

I haven't used any of Lloyde's products or services, but he did do a rather efficient job of rubbing me the wrong way on the Yahoo L67 swap list a while back.  I posted a question looking for opinions of various aftermarket ECMs.  There were a few worthwhile/informative responses, but when Lloyde chimed in it was with a frigging sales pitch for his own services.   Roll Eyes
