It is too bad that they did not give more info on the engine, and car that they used.

I tripped over some unaccredited articles late in the day yesterday which claim that it's a modified 4th generation VW TDI, possibly double-blown (roots supercharger + turbo).   Huh

At 20+ pounds of boost, it would probably not last long before the internals grenade.  Cheesy  A lot of good, saving pennies, with the 50 mpg
