For all auto clubs/tuners

Like the last event, this will be an
officially escorted police event w/ likely news coverage
as well! I urge you to book time off or make plans to attend
this event as the knowledge gained is invaluable! Insurance
agents will be on hand, as well as a pointts representative
and many police officers, all to answer your questions.

Here are some vital details :

When : Saturday, August 28th/2004
Where : Departing Lynx Stadium @ 11am ( Arrive early! )
Where : Departing Ottawa Good Time Center @ 12pm ( Arrive early! )
Cost : Free!
Final Location : Ottodrome

Sorry, it bascically an educational event. More for the younger generation who take thier parents car out and pretend to be the F&F and for the people who street race or mod their cars and aren't sure about whats legal and what not. Their just trying to find some tuners or local club to come out and show their vehicals.

Constable Chris Parent who organizing it has been working with local performance shops to organize this event. You can feel free to ask the cops there question along with some other organization like Pointts etc.

I just think it’s cool to have a police escort that blows through town and the lights I might add.

Neat.  So it's basically just an info session on "neutral ground" then, or is the Ottodrome opening up their drag strip for a little play time as well?

Checked the Ottodrome's web site yesterday, but they're apparently not very good at keeping the "news" section of their site up-to-date.

Info session/car show. The cops won't be handing tickets out of any kind.

Last time we were allowed two free run down the 1/8. I take it this time their probably going to do the same, but don't quote me on that.
