I MIGHT have access to an 88 cradle and/or front end assy's.  I am not sure if I want to get into swapping them into my 85 or not simply because of the amount of work I have put into my car so far altho I might go with the cradle.  The front end would be the cross member, the hub ass'ys, the rack (if necessary but prob a good idea to match the rest) and the upper and lower control arms.

Any interest?  The stuff isn't dirt cheap to me but I would just pass it along to someone who would use it.  I am 'guessing' the cradle will be in the $350 range with all that stuff on it, but the 'owner' is being tight lipped about price so usually that isn't a good sign.

I have no idea what they might ask for the front assy but they said they would look at it and get back to me.
I have to decide what I am going to do too, here.  To help me with my decision, can anyone post a pic or pix of the 88 spindle assy hopefully showing a bare spindle and the bearing separately?
TIA!!!

well, there may be a very short line-up already.  I have almost had the rear cradle 'forced' on me and I am pretty sure I am NOT going to use it now.
The front assy is up in the air but I will see what he wants for it and go from there.  So NICK, if you are reading this let me know.
thx

If I'd have an 88 I would probably scoop that stuff up, as backup parts.  But right now I'm more after a clean rolling chassis.  Can't see myself swapping the 88 "stuff" to an earlier frame....but thats a fun project!

ok
I think these things are available to the first person who wants them.
LMK and I can put you in touch with the guy.  The ONLY thing I know about price is that he told me he wanted $200 for the cradle, and his idea of cradle was a bit more 'bare' than mine........ Roll Eyes
So I am guessing $300?  maybe a bit more with the hub ass'ys and the trailing arms (for lack of a better term).

Should ask Brian as his cradle is not in the best of shape. Dan

hi Brian
I don't have it and don't expect I will get it but if you are interested I can point you in the right direction.  I have no idea what shape it is in except they said it looked 'fine'.

Huh

the front end of this car is probably still avail (AFAIK) and since they report it was hit in the back end hopefully it is in decent shape?
