just as a memory jog to me; what is the key item to watch for when looking at 5 spd transmissions; one has an aluminum end plate and the other is steel?  I think the Getrag is steel?  Any other things that are obvious?
And I presume this end plate is at the opposite end from the clutch or no?
Hope to do a 'wreckers' run this wk coming so want to know what I am looking for.
tia, all!!

Best way is by shifter mechanism on tranny Getrag one is like 4 speed tranny all built in sticking straight up. Isuzu one is a bolted on cylinder type coming up top of tranny. Once you actually see what I mean you can't miss it after that. Dan
