Another shameless plug: for a machine shop.
NOTE: this is NOT a conventional "automotive" machine shop; this is a general MACHINE SHOP, period.  They do NOT do engines and bore blocks etc etc.  Ever.

These guys have a really neat place.  They are always working on something that looks like it should go in the shuttle: hi-tech and really bizarre  Huh Huh Huh
I have had a BUNCH of fairly unusual and special machine work done and Rick Jones, the boss man, listens intently and remembers! what you want.  He seems genuinely interested and evidently he is, asking even months later how this or that little part worked out.

All the conventional stuff you would expect PLUS (I would guess) pretty well unlimited CNC machining capability.  I think they can make pretty much anything I could dream up.  I won't go anywhere else.  I expect that if someone was just curious that he would be willing to "show you around" (time sensitive, of course) just to show off their place.
Like I said, a shameless plug but these guys are worth it.  If you have questions I can try to answer.

oh, yes...... I should add that as a BONUS, that this machine shop shares space with "No LImits" Auto Parts - Mike has a pretty full range (or access to) pretty much anything and he is either "dedicated or tenacious" in his pursuit of the right part number for the part you need.  He has dug up some tough items for me and can get speed/custom stuff or stock replacement stuff.
So if you go to check out the machine shop, wander next door and say "hi".

So what's the name of the place, and where is it located?   Grin

Yeeeeepppppp
It's monday morning all right, isn't it?Huh??   Undecided Huh Grin

geeeeezzzz
duh.  On me.

The machine shop is called "IMCO Tool & Die (1987) Ltd" and it is at 1417-B Cyrville Rd.  It is on the more northerly side of the road just a bit before Startop Road.  It is a bit hard to find, actually, but really worthwhile.
Phone is 741-0480 and it might help to mention that you are with the Fiero Club.  Maybe; don't know...... or maybe that will send him running!  LOL.  Really, though, Rick is a really good guy with a great sense of humour.  Anyone who is in business that long HAS to have a sense of humour!!

Mike, at NoLimits next door, has a common door into the machine shop; you find one and you have the other.  His email is "nolimits@Imcotool.com" and they share a website called "www.Imcotool.com" so have a look-see.  Mike seems pretty keen on car clubs so maybe we should follow up on that and see if he will give a 50% discount to us!  (Seeing if he is following this.....   Grin )  Combine that with his cooperative nature and just 'willingness to please' and it is a huge help: ie for people who want to try something new or different (we're talking about cars, here) and has brought in parts just to look at, measure or try or test-fit. Not everyone will do THAT!!

I'm going back to bed.  Try this all again.   Sad
