XS Cargo for sure; if you have never checked them out they have pretty good looking (for what THAT is worth!!) speakers. They always have something and those would prob go for about $15 or so...... amazingly inexpensive. If you want pricey stuff then go for the stereo stores of course....

A firiend of mine was working at wallmart at the time and got them for me at his cost, I believe he had to order them in though. One of the two Fiero's I just bought has alpine 4x10 speakers in it and they fit fine and sound a lot better than the stock ones do.

Rack fixed. Wheel alignment done. Have booked Friday off. Will be getting the safety completed at your buddies place in Bellville. Haven't made an appointment yet. Do I have his number? Will you be at your place at noon, so that we can put in the pass key and the decklid rubbers etc. in??

Alpine has a 4X6 with side moldings that make it fit perfectly and allows you to put your cover back on.
Like Eric said, Princess Auto has almost every size as well, just don't turn the volume up.....

Bit the bullet ($149 tax included) and bought a pair of 160 watt peak power Kenwood 4x10's. Extra 4 year warrenty at $44 I didn't need. My problem now is that there is an A and B on the factory speakers and a + and - on the replacement Kenwoods. I know that they have to be wired correctly. I have checked my Haynes manual and both of the the factory Fiero manuals and no luck as to a schematic that would explain it. So any of you changed so know which is which?

Front speakers, all years:
Front left: tan +, grey - Front right: light green +, dark green -
Rear speakers (in the seats), 84-85:
Rear left: brown +, yellow - Right rear: dark blue +, light blue -
Wire colors for the rear speakers may be different for the 86-88s, but I doubt it.
