I have an 86 GT and when I put it into rev. it pushs over the console. Can anybody help me with this?

take the console off. There are some adjustment screws that hold the whole shift linkage. losen, move to the oposite side of reverse. tighten. Smiley

OK, it not realy that easy is it!?!? what is there 3 or 4 bolts?
