this came from my 73,000km 86 GT.  The engine is a stock 2.8 with the 4spd mated to it , comes with brackets and shift cables , the motor needs headgaskets , but runs well , last driven about 1 month ago before I pulled the motor. The clutch has around 15K on it. Car was never winter driven.

Good for a cheap 6cyl conversion , includes computer and every accessory on the engine..complete from top to bottom , never touched. Has full exhaust less cat converter. No coil , no dog bone.

$450 for both

Im located in Kingston .

email me @ jmccreery@buddssubaru.com

first come first served , price is non negotiable. I had 2 people onthe motor , one has decided to go another direction with his project, the other traveled 2 hours then offered me half of what I was asking. Don't waste my time or your own.

see, that is a good deal IF the head gasket was not blown.. Because it IS blown, there migh of been coolant in the oil and the mains might be on the way out. So this engine's condition is a guess at best even if you know all the history on it.

I'd take the best offer you can get right now..

I got the car with 28,000kms on it from a 78 year old man. You make a valid point about the mains. But the car wasn't driven more than 5 miles with the headgaskets gone , and the oil is clean. make an offer , but don't bother if it's $200 or something rediclous. The engine comes as complete as it gets. Harness , ECM , everything , complete from top to bottom. I have seen the wiring harness for for $100 on pennocks , the intakes and fuel setup is worth $150US...so I think $400 is a fair price for the motor.

But make an offer and lets see what we can come up with.

$400 for a motor in that kind of shape I think is totally fair.

Needs head gaskets?

Would you calculate shipping to 32176??

I can only assume that however much it costs to ship that it will be deducted from your asking price?

If not would you be willing to take $100 cash and a Florida banana tree?  You of course would have to pay to have the tree shipped.

Hit me back.  Thanks
