I posted a link on this site a few years back that really covered eveything. But the problem was most of us (or all) don't go though that much trouble when storing. This is the thread and the link still works.
http://www.fierodrivers.com/forum/index.php?topic=2075.0If you don't want to go though all that trouble here is a short list that I have developed from hating the long ritual which I never have time for.
1. fill the tank up after putting in stableizer.
2. pump up the tires to 40 or 45 lbs
3. I use a syringe to pull out all the brake fluid in the clutch master and the brake master and put in fresh fluid. Use DOT 3 for Ford (higher temp boiling point). Do not use DOT 4 or DOT 5. They don't hold near as much moisture till saturation.
3. change engine oil
4. (Optional) pull the spark plugs and put a teaspoon of engine oil in each cylinder. Pull the fuse for the computer (and fuel pump). Turn over the motor a few times then put the spark plugs back in.
5. pull one of the battery terminals and put a slow charger, smart charger on the battery.
6. plug the tailpipe(s) and put mothballs in the trunk area, engine bay and especially the front storage compartment.
If your good that whole thing takes less than an hour including gassing up.
In the spring all you have to do is.
1. Re-connect the battery
2. use a syringe to remove and replace the brake fluid again. Bleed the brakes (I use a solo bleeder, and leave the car on the ground. It takes about 5 minutes
3. put the fuse back for the computer (ECU/ECM)
4. warm up the car and change the oil again.
5. inspect your systems. You never know what might spring a leak or what kind of animal made a home while you were away.
Your good to go.
