Painting car
«

I have been considering different painting ideas for my 84 Fiero with the fast back body for a while and am leaning towards painting it like an old Camaro I once built up. I used a med metalic blue and a nice white with a red stripe seperating the two colours, any ways I had a guy on PFF do some photos shop work for me.
Opinions are appreciated but remember I have spent a lot of time with Gary over the years so this may just be him rubbing off on me. Dan

Nice colors, but you should paint the trim accordingly

Funny you should say that. Here is my first thought for the Ranger...blue over white with an orange pinstripe.

Oh no now I am realy starting to get scared, could it be that Gary has rubbed off on me that much. Does this mean there is no hope left for me and I will be forever taking cars apart with a grinder.
I agree on the body molding it will have to either be removed or painted to match then a nice red stripe not an orange or pink or slime green stripe applied along the tape line. Dan

Dan,
If you're looking for yays or nays from the peanut gallery, I'd vote yes - it looks good to me.
If you're going for 'stealth' though, the paint scheme does sort of blow a cover (MOE, OPP, RCMP ........).
BTW are you planning to run it at Shannonville on a Friday (ARM DROP) or Saturday this year - if so let me know I'd like to see it run.

My Dak is Red and White (or White and Red) without any strip.

I forgot that you can always play with this........

You can't do the diagonal design, but you can get an idea of colour combos.

This car has an interesting two tone. I think it may need a fade to white ahead of the front wheel, but still a looker.
