Taken from the local Redliners forum....

I was travelling south down Hawthorne towards Hunt Club and (stupid me) decided to see what the teg could do with a Fiero. My lord I got whooped. I don't know much about Fiero's but that thing sounded mean.
If you are on this board, amazing car and great acceleration. Never again "
enjoy, Sandy

Does it say when?
I was there October 9 with my 3800SC Fiero... That's the same day I was driving
a 2000 Maserati (belongs to a friend... not mine
)...

The guy started the topic this am, so I'm assuming yesterday. Most who have written to the thread assume it was someone with a 3800! If you have access, here's the thread....

Is there any such thing as an admin-type e-mail for Redliners?
Looks like my account has vanished, yet attempts to re-register claim that my e-mail address is already in use.

And the answer is.....
"Quote (deebz @ Oct. 17 2006,01:17)
was it back, with chrome wheels. If it was, and an older guy driving, he's got a 3.8 supercharged in it, i used to drive it when i worked at a car dealership, it sounds mean, and it moves, but he has so many problems. He lives off huntclub near hawthorne, he said he WANTS to put a northstar in it, i dont think he'd do it though.
yea that was him "

Maybe they're just blocking access by Fiero owners. This is what happens when a Fiero cleans up like the black one did.

hackish (Michael) is the board owner. Runs a shop and is not big on reading and answering email and pm's in a timely fashion.
There are a lot of strange people over there....
evryone seems to have a half dozen troll accounts saved up to be used as required.
BTW, they seemed to be on side with the 3800 Fiero idea. They do have a lot of ricers, and muscle car types so it's unlikely to get any real converts.
Typical new thread is "I have 60K, what car should I buy to beat everyone else"

Bah, it doesn't matter how long the guy takes to answer messages when one has no way of contacting him, does it?
I can't log in to my old account, which rules out PMs. If there's any kind of "contact us" type information for outsiders or people just plain having acount problems, it's burried too deeply to be useful.
Long story short: once upon a time I had an account there, mostly just to read the entertainment smack in the non-public sections. The account seems to have been nuked, yet it still thinks my e-mail address is attached to a registered account and therefor won't allow a new registration.
Oh well... it's not much of a loss as far as I'm concerned.
Back on topic, does anyone recognize the subject car? I don't think it belongs to anyone on the forum, at least not anyone "active".

I've heard from some people who have worked at surgenors about a black 3800sc fiero that has been in there for service. If the guy is not happy with it he should go see Dan instead of the dealership and avoid every kid test driving it, maybe that's the problem.

This may sound strange but I can't remember for sure if I ever did a 3800SC swap into a black Fiero. Been so many I can't remember what all colours they were. Must be either old age or hanging around Gary too much. Dan

How is your Fiero anyways?
I hope you'll be able to join us at the first ride of '07!

OK, I give up, what's a "teg"? - as in " decided to see what the teg could do with a Fiero".
