Derek get a hold of me if you read this or when you get back from vacation. The valve springs did not seat you need to order #105 springs from ZZ, he said you clould return the #90's you have now. The cam is in and every thing is back together and in the car just need to change the springs and set every thing up then she will be done. Dan

Just back from LA and reading my mail and messages for the first time.  I'll order the 105's tomorrow.  Should I have them shipped directly to your place?  If so, PM me the address again.

Thanks!

Cheers, Derek

Would save a trip if they are sent directly to me. My address is
 Dan McIlmoyle
 1872 County Rd 2
 RR 2 Consecon
 KOK 1T0
Should only take me one day once the springs arrive to have her running again. Installed the fire wall insulation not the easiest stuff to work with but it should quieten things up as the old stuff was falling apart. Plus it looks so much nicer in there that I felt that the engine needed some painting to make it look better so I used some slime green paint I got from Gary to make every thing pretty for you. Dan

The "Blue Thingy" will be running "The Friendly Green Machine" engine?!?!?!

My car is going to have an identity crisis.    Roll Eyes

I ordered the 105# springs just now.  Save the box for me so that I can send the other ones back.  Smiley

No problem, hey it could be worse I could have painted it pink oh wait a minute you probably would have liked that. No I actually painted a few things with some aluminum paint I had. But if green is what you want I could always change it. Dan

Pink...well....maybe during the 80's when I had a "Miami Mice" t-shirt and wore pastel coloured polo shirts with the collars up.   Embarrassed

As for the green, save that for someone elses car.  Wink  I think Stephane's car could use some more colour.

Derek, I was cleaning  Roll Eyes and found those aero rocker panels.  If you want them, remind me to bring them down next time.  anything else you're looking for?

By the way...........  would you have a use for a non-sunroof headliner board? (no headliner fabric on it now)

I could use the non-sunroof headliner...maybe put some fabric on it over the winter so that it is ready for when I put on that new roof I have over at Dan's right now.

I'll come by your way some time with the SUV so that I can pick the headliner up as well as the rocker panels.

Are the rockers green now and/or sparkly by chance?   Cheesy

Cheers, Derek

PS  Back to the topic of LA...do you know how long I've stood in line for the shows this week?!  Some crazy people (not me...I only got there at 6:00 AM) camped out from 11:00 PM the night before for the Price is Right, and 4:30 AM for Ellen (I got there at 7:00 AM).

I like.  Smiley

What I look forward to most is whether there is a noticeable drop in noise and heat transfer into the cabin area.

New valve springs arrived today and she is all back together and running nicely. This thing is going to fly once the PCM is all reworked to match every thing up. Dan
