...or maybe not.  I see they've made financial contributions to the Ontario Liberal candidate in at least one campaign (2003).    Tongue

A few years ago, there was a Fiero at Rockway on the forecourt.  I stopped (in mine ) to have a look.  A salesman said the owner was a Fiero guy and I went in to have a chat.  The owner took me into his office and we had a long talk about Fieros.  He had a couple of parters in the back and some at home.

Was a really nice guy, and even offered a donation to the club.  If we ever get enough cars running for a display, I bet we could arrange a stop on a weekend run at the dealership for a short 'show'.   Afro

Political humour.

But given the choice of 2 identical products, one from a companies who had no singular political affiliation and one that was aligned with the Provincial Liberals, I would choose the first company.

I can be fussy that way (I have been politically active).  There are local companies that I won't patron because of municipal political leanings.   The only person it really impacts is me...a copy I'm "boycotting" won't even miss my not shopping there and it isn't as though I encourage others to do the same.  But still I do it.

Cheers, Derek

Liberals = bad  Lips Sealed

Not always.  I've become a bit more, well, less rigid in my political ideologies over the past few years.  I'm a "Red Tory" or even "Libertarian"..heck, some could even label me (as much as I hate it) a "Blue Liberal".   Shocked

However, during the last provincial election, I believe McGuinty's Liberals made promises they knew they had to break if elected, and that is something that I completely disagree with.  And come the 2007 Provincial Election, I look forward to see him and his Party defeated by Tory's Tories (who I think would be just as comfortable as a Liberal...a Blue Liberal).

Cheers, Derek

lol

Not a problem...I've been called worse.   Wink

As I've said, my political attachments have changed over the years.  My first introduction to politics was becoming a member of the informal Young NDP club my first year in high school.  Needless to say, that didn't last for very long.
