wow... it is odd that they didnt have a sprinkler system.. or at least a functioning sprinkler system.. It would suck if there sprinklers just didnt work.. then the Insurance would just say tough luck....

could be some good parts left..

A lot of companies opt to not install a sprinkler system because they cause too much damage in the case of a false alarm.  Water damage is often not covered by an insurer but fire damage is.  It’s strange and I don’t know what the policy is there but there are a lot of computer buildings in Ottawa that don’t have a sprinkler because of the damage that they would cause to the computers.  In some cases they opt for a much more expensive non water systems.  This was obviously not one of those cases.

I wonder what there insurance is going to cost now?
