So i'm done school tomorrow and the first thing im gonna be doing is putting some work into my fiero. Any tips on exhaust for my 88 2.8?
im also trying to get a bit more fuel milage out of it (arent we all) but at least i have somewhere to start. I'm replacing the now unplugged O2 sensor, and hopefully the EGR. any other simple tips for the 2.8?

right now i have an empty cat in, should i be replacing it now, orr should i just wait until the e-test comes around in two years?

and the last question is about tint. is 20 on the sides and 5 on the back sound reasonable?

ANNND another thing im hoping to do in may is moving my subwoofer from between the seats to the front, any idea on porting the sound?

One thing with the exhaust that I have noticed on two seperate occasions.  Make sure that where ever the exhaust is close to the motor or transmission that you have heat shielding on it.  I have noticed two people that have a shitpile of hairline cracks in their transmissions from running unshielded exhaust over their transmission.  One running a turbo and the other a stainless steel exhaust.

I can't say for sure that is the cause but I can think of no other possibility.

Your only limitations are set from within, by a lack of vision.  But to have vision alone leaves the process idle.  Ergo, without action your thoughts are worthless.
