As most of you know I am rebuilding a 2.8 Fiero block. Right now I am just cleaning it up and getting it ready to rebuild.

I was considering just taking it in and getting the short block done in a shop, But then I had an idea. Thought I'd share Cheesy

I am considering buying all the parts to rebuild it and then throwing a seminar for others to see and learn. Obviously I will need a volunteer who knows alot about rebuilding these engines and who is interested in volunteering some much appreciated time to show everyone the steps.

We could make it a weekend seminar and I would host it at my place In orleans.

If anyone has any feedback def feel free to add it.
For now this is just theoretical unless I get enough positive green lights from the right people Smiley U know who u are.

Also If you are interested in Being the demo rebuilder or want to aid in any way, let me know so we can communicate and I can make sure I have EVERYTHING you need before hand. ie parts, tools etc.

I look forward to hearing your comments Smiley

Are you re-building the lower only (Crank, rods......) or are you rebuilding the upper too? (Valves, springs.....)

I might be interested since I have the same job to do...

Ok I dont have a date yet, im waiting for more feedback,

The rebuild would include the entire assembly of the crank, bearings and pistons. We can include the heads as well depending on how much time there is.

It would take place at my house on pocono in my garage or on my driveway and i can provide chairs.

I will aim for a weekend and will supply food and all the parts.

Right now  i just want to know who would be interested. It will be free to watch and learn.

I am going to take the block in and see about remachining the journals and boring the cylinders then i will order the parts to fit.

Once I have the block ready to go I will schedule the rebuild seminar.
