has anyone decided to go LED instead of bulbs in your fieros???
looking to that this winter.. so on with the questions:

1) how many bulbs are in the instrament cluster??

2) did anyone change out the turn bulbs to LED and if so,
2a) was there a problem with the car thinking the bulb are burnt out, with the volt draw being lower then the regular bulb?Huh

3) did anyone change out the break and reverse light and any problems with them
same as 2a..

thanks

1) I changed the bulbs in the cluster for blue led.
If I recall well, there is 6 of those.

2) I changed front side turn signal to led. You need an
electronic flasher relay. 5$ at your local part
dealer.

2a) The car does not monitor light bulbs. The only
concern is with the flasher relay.

3) I changed the backup lights to led, but returned to
regular bulbs. The led I bought were not bright enough.

I also changed for LED, all the interior bulbs, except for
ashtray, an the trunk bulb.

ISn't it amazing how easy it is to change a bulb in this cluster? Just unscrew, Pull out the socket and pop the bulb out. And people ask me why I drive this car:)

The Flasher relay is under driver side dash.

It is the little box which is making the clic-clic noise.

The easiest way to find it is to have it working while you are lieing on your Fiero floor.Smiley
