Darn GM and some of their body fasteners...   Undecided

I have two aluminum "banana peel" type rivets which I need to set, which have a 1/4" shank.  Most tool & hardware stores only sell riveters which can handle up to a 3/16" shank...  Ottawa Fastener Supply has a monster riveter, however forking out $200-$300 to set two rivets is a bit excessive.

Does anyone happen to have a 1/4" riveter which I could borrow, or know where I could rent one from?

Try borrowing one from an auto glass shop! $$ up front and return in an hour...
or from a tool rental shop
