Little news topic on the news just now.  A condo designed for electric vehicles in BC.

What do they show? Some little modern tiny electrics, a GMC pickup with a bed full of batteries,.......    a  n   d  .........  an electric Fiero.  No specific mention of the Fiero, but several nice shots.

Neat.  Has anyone seen the Ottawa-area electric notchie with "no exhaust" written on the rear bumper in a while?

I used to spot it downtown on-and-off a couple of years ago, but haven't seen it since.

I remember this one, managed to get a hold of the owner several years back.  Could probably dig out the info if I knew where to look.  Don't quote me on this though....If I recall correctly, his conversion, and got 40-50 km per charge.  He was looking to sell it since he loaned it out to his daughter and she fried the batteries.  Think at that time he said it was a few thousand for them.  Wouldn't be too bad these days seeing as battery technology is somewhat cheaper.
