Going through the good ol' change of address paper tangle, and what do I find but the ability to file a change of address for one's driver's licence, health card, and outdoors card all in one shot via either those "Service Ontario" kiosks or online.
A blast of keystrokes & mouse clicks later, and I'm done. ...or so I thought.
If you are eligible for a new driver's licence card, one will be mailed to you in approximately four to six weeks. If you do not receive your new Driver's Licence within 8 weeks, please call the Ministry of Transportation at 1-800-387-3445 or (416) 235-2999 (Toronto).
A new Vehicle Registration will not be issued. If you require a new Vehicle Registration showing your new address, visit any Driver and Vehicle Licence Issuing Office.
Can someone please tell me what the bloody point of being able to file the address change remotely is, when you still have to get to one of the banking-hours-loving licence offices for new ownership/plate cards?!
