88 Quad 4 with 5 spd; whole car $200

PM me if interested..... I don't know anything about this but it might be a basis/core for a swap???  I think that the quad 4 trans is different from the fiero trans (bolt pattern) but don't know the ins and outs there.

But there is an 84 for sale in Jasper (for parts it said) for $400 asking plus this car; wiring harness and all; plus a $1000 allowance for 'trim'...... and niceties.... and another $400 for misc stuff and you would only have $2000 involved in a quad four swap.......

Dan bought 2 extra cars and 1 has no motor in it.
This quad 4 ought be a cheap 4 cylinder motor for him and some juice after it is installed as well.

It DOES sound kinda appealing, doesn't it?  If I wasn't saddled already I would absolutely be thinking about it. 

Brian: if you are going to mention it, be sure to remember that the guy says it needs a head gasket; apparently a pretty common issue with those things.  And I have no idea of whether it is still avail anyway...
