Title: waiting
Post by: Boy-z on July 14, 2003, 12:09:34 pm
So Eric is your car up and running yet . Mine was ready to go back into the car only to find out that the new oil pan I bought does not fit my engine and hopefully the new one will be in today and put that on and shove it back into the car so I am hoping in a few days. So what about your's.

Well, walking down the ilse soon and not enough cash to show for it.. so my Fiero is on hold for now. :(  If I cut corners on the wedding, I have a life time to pay for it. :(

I'm going to get back on it asap!

Glad to see your car is almost done Karl, Gary.. wish i could say the same :P  Well.. the doors are still there. :P

Cheers!
Eric

Gary how many times do I have to say the idea here is to put the car back together not take it further apart. Last car I saw at your place like that is in my driveway right now and running so you see it can be done.
Am going to have to trim my heatshield a bit due to rubbing so would you like me to make one for you while it is out and I can copy it. It is made out of around 10 gauge galvanized steel. Also did some checking was told series I did not have a speed control module for the fuel pump so you do no need one.
Now lets start putting your beast back together, you did unbolt not cut off those parts didn't you. haa haa Dan

Thanks Dan.  At least a template of the shield will be nice.  I suspect my system will be a lot like yours in the routing.  Glad to hear about the module as I didn't see anything like that.

You know that I take everything apart with my trusty angle grinder.  Hope to have the cradle in the garage tomorow.
