Anyone going to the Aylmer Auto show on Sunday?

Will you be with or without your Fiero?

I'll be there.....looking for Fiero's!  Never had enough time to register!

I really wanted to go this year but it seems that I'll be attending a Ferrari show in an actual Ferrari (F355 Spider....not mine).  Can't pass that up.

I went!  5 Fiero's in all, 2 from Montreal, 1 from Iberville, and 2 from rockland!

Fieros were in the Sport Compact North American class.

I am extremely proud to say that one of the Fiero won the 2nd place!  :)

Yeah, this means for the first time in Aylmer Autoshow, a Fiero won since the took out the Fiero class, wich means, YES, I DID beat the Rice racer (Neon, sunfire...)

I was there a few times! Once in the early afternoon just as it started to rain, and then around 3:30pm ish! I was there with my wife and two daughters.  I asked the people under the tent if they where the fiero owners and someone replied...YES!  I then said "very nice"!!!  That was me if you remember.  I had a "Fiero Factory" T-shirt on!! Anyway, I didn't enter mine because I didn't know what to expect and wanted to first attend a show to size up the competition...lol

It's not a usual type of car show.  It's more of a show and drive for sick kids at camp.   We show up, along with other car clubs, show the cars and take anyone that wants to for a drive.  This event happens every year on the same day as the Aylmer show.

The guy I went with wanted a little brake so he let me take one of the kids out....that was cool.  He's a nice guy that way.

I didn't bring my camera but one of the guys did, and another took this pic on our way back to Ottawa with his camera phone from a black F348.  That's me in the passenger seat of the F355.  I'll get the other pictures next time we get together since you are interested.

Thanks for the pic Aaron, I must say, a Ferrary fits your smile very well... Some of us can only dream about ridding in those cars, let alone drive them.

I recall seeing a guy wearing a grayish shirt with a Fiero pegasus printed on the back, walking away from the Fieros. Was that you? You should have stopped and introduced yourself, would have been nice to meet another Fiero addict >:D

Yup, that was me....beige/gray shirt with red Fiero Factory Logo and Pegasus on it.  I wasn't sure if you guys where Ottawa Fiero Club members because nobody confirmed showing cars!  Oh well, next year I'll be there with at least 2 Fiero's for sure!!! Oh, and by the way, CONGRATS Fred......well done!!!

Rumour has it that this was the last Aylmer Auto Show.... Some people told us that the city of Gatineau did not want the show anymore.

Monday morning, some french radio stations where reporting that the organiser of the event was quitting.

I heard a while back that it was the last show in Aylmer. There are other large shows in the region and the one in Hawkesbury is a good one because it is between Ottawa and Montreal. I believe it's on the 4 of September this year.

Just found the site, it's September 4   www.clubautohawk.com

I will probably show up there.

Does anybody know if we need to register a car for showing at the Hawksbury show or do we just show up with it?
