Title: Fuel injectors... Post by: dimeadozen on May 17, 2011, 04:43:03 pm Im working on disassembling my old 2.8 but I cant seem to figure out how to disconnect the fuel injectors from the fuel rails. I can see the little tangs that hold the injectors into the fuel rails but I cant figure out how it unhooks.
The Haynes manuel in its infinite wisdom instructs me to a: remove injectors and then b: remove fuel rail... Any thoughts? Title: Re: Fuel injectors... Post by: fiero_fighter on May 17, 2011, 08:49:43 pm on my 3.8 its little ring clips that you have to pull back, that frees them up and then you just pull. the O-rings hold it together tight, so I had to pull hard.
