Hello All
    Thanks to everyone who made it out Sat, was great to see everyone again despite the dastardly cold weather. It was a good turnout and allot of new faces which was great. I actually got around to getting at some club issues this time(i'll get the hang of it sooner or later) and we came up with this:

Club structure: Looks like we'll keep it as it stands, Me harassing you every so often.

Regular meeting times: While in the past it was great for me to randomly call meeting I now realize the error of my ways, from now on we will have a club meeting once a month, the first Saturday of each month. We will figure out the locations of each meeting and post well in advance or settle on 1 or 2  locations. During the summer months once we're all mobile again we will gather around 4-5 or so and cruise, event, or whatever we have on tap then end up at the location for the meeting.

Events- just a brief discussion about the types and this is what we've brainstormed:

Dyno day- for those who want to get all the specs on their mobiles
Road Course- Shannonville most likely
Drag strip- The new strip at (Speeddome???) old Capital City on Hwy 7 or Luskville.
Cruise- Tues Nights at Centrum in Kanata and Wed at Place D'Orleans, prob alternating weeks sched to follow

for the above events to keep costs down we will go with some other clubs such as DSM, Supra, and BMW depending on the #'s

Shows- Aylmer will be the main one for the club, Aug 10 I think this year
           Carisle, PA in May DTF(details to follow
           Arnprior, July 1st(ish)(DTF)
           Rockland(DTF)
           GTA Toronto(DTF)

20th Anniversary- I'm going to try to track down alternate info for everyone in regards to a cheaper alternative than the Marriotte and get all costs involved for everyone, also look at CAA coverage for the trip as well as help from Pontiac dealership for the trip. again DTF

Club Gear- I will contact everyone later to get interest, along with ballpark price. Gary seems to have the best setup, fairly flexible in terms of getting what you want at a good price.

Solo- as per usual, watch Tyler and anyone else willing to take a crack at the course.

The web page for the new drag strip is at www.ottodrome.com  It is on hwy7 near Stittsville.

The j-body (Cav Sunfire) guys are talking about joining other clubs for meets, etc just as we were.  They prefer GM for their GTG meets.  They also mentioned the DSM guys may join in on drags or dyno time.

I believe they meet at the CTC store on Merivale (Hunt Club).
