Okay, I'm old!  :(  I don't do ebay.  Yeah, I know I should play too. 

Would anyone who does use ebay buy something for me?  There are a couple of auctions on right now, as well as several 'buy it now' items on the vendor's ebay store.

The total involved should be well under $20.00 US

The pearl comes in 'satin',  'regular' , or 'shimmer'

I'm leaning toward the shimmer but either the regular or the shimmer would suit.  I don't know how it will turn out so I guess it is experiment time.

Don is a lot closer  :)  and I trust Sacha to read up on this and pick the best one.  >:D

Both auctions end around 10PM.  The bidder at present is the same and the bid at 1 to 3 dollars.  Would be nice to get both.   ;)

Am I wrong to assume that an experienced bidder has auto bid up to the buy it now price?  Or at least to something closer than a buck?

Is it likely that this is a shill bidding to keep the product at about it's normal retail price.

I'm certainly out of my element, but not desperate to buy.

Sorry for leaving you on the hook; it's been a busier than expected evening.  I got 'em, for the moment.  :)

I currently have a max bid in on each of a little over $5.  I'll keep an eye on things and increase it if necessary (but not over $10 for each unless you say otherwise).

5 is probably good.  I don't expect it will win the auction, but they sell it straight out for 10.
