Title: 4 speed shifter Post by: 2ML67 on September 16, 2006, 02:20:44 pm Was fooling around with an 84 Fiero 4 speed shifter, sort of redesigned it to work with a shifter knob off a 70's Trans Am. Was going to use it before I decided to just get a 5 speed instead, now I no longer need it so any one in need of a 4 speed shifter like this. Will get a photo up later. Dan

Grind (finally) the welds off the shifter shaft. Throw away the fat shifter that few knobs fit. Cut a suitable shifter off at your local stablishment and bend to suit and weld back on the Fiero unit. O0 I switched the shifter in the '85 to the shorter '84 shaft a while back, but that one's still too long for my liking. |
