Here's a kicker Eric, because of the wife's troubles with cars we have been put into another category with our insurance company (Thieving Dastards) and as a result my deductable would be $1000 (Thieving Dastards) so me being the cocky and cheap son of a gun I am took collision off the Fiero knowing if it were minor there would be parts around and the accident would not be my fault. I got a ticket and the car is a goner, no amount of Gary's parts would fix this. I knew I could get another for the cost of deductable so it was a gamble. Have I told anyone how much I like insurance companies by the way?

Anyhow Chris is back to his usual talky, active self driving Dad nuts and Dad isn't feeling so much like somebody hit him in the sternum with a sledgehammer.
             Take care, Kevin

I hope it works out for you.  I know we all get a shitty hand sometimes, but it's how we deal with it that makes us characters.

Good luck
Aaron

Crap!
Well take the interior out of your car and lets go shopping for another Fiero! I'm sure we can find a real decent one for cheap! :)

Cheers!
Eric

Been there, like I said if you need a place to put her my driveway is available. I know I live a fair ways away but if you can't find any where else its better than losing whats left of your car. Dan

I am tossing around what I want to do. It has to be moved soon as Erwin my mechanic has told me. Would it be possible dolly it over to my garage? I just wasn't sure about putting it in there. I am thinking out loud again aren't I? Yeah, if it is possible could we tow it here and that will take some pressure off. I was trying to work some contacts trying to get a flatbed and it is not panning out. I do want to strip it but I do not know what I will do with the carcass when I am done. As far as using the dolly only the drivers wheel is straight, the right side wheel is quite fubared you would have to see it, it does sit on the ground though. It is right now sitting high and dry on a pallet after people started wandering in off the street asking about this or that. We would have to tow it over the next few days if thats what we are going to do.
   I appreciate your help, Kevin.

Most wreckers will pick up a carcass in any condition for free.  Shouldn't be much of a problem to phone around and find one close to you who would do the deed.

These little cars aren't that heavy.  I'm suspect that if you could find two or three reasonably strong people that you could block the rear wheels, and have the gorillas lift up the nose of the car while someone else backed a tow dolly up under the front wheels.  You wouldn't have to worry about trying to roll it on to the dolly with the cockeyed RF wheel that way.  Reverse the procedure to unload the car obviously.

I also have a few comealongs so it can be done. I am leaving for Oshawa way tommorow so any move of the dolly at my place will have to happen tonight or sunday. Get back to me once you have decided there Kevin.

hey,
good to hear that you're both ok!  i got hit by a drunk dude in 2002....he had to hit the IMSA body kit fiero.....prick......and all i got was 1500$ and my car back....but the front is pretty done in. on top of that, it took them 7 months to give me my settlement!!!  but don't be 3 minutes late on a payment, cause they'll screw ya right?? (thieving bastards)
anyway, glad to hear it wasn't worse than car damage! if you wanna find another fiero and have trouble finding one that's worth workin on, u should take a trip up to Timmins, my dad's car lot has about 12 various fieros, 4s and 6s.....i think they're all notchies though, and some are parts cars, but we're talkin cheap prices, even for the nicer ones.
hope things start lookin up for ya.
