Title: LF: iron duke
Post by: lercs on May 17, 2004, 02:33:00 pm
well with all you guys doing engine swaps someone out there might have an old iron duke lying around

i m hoping to get one for free, or next to nothing, cause i dont need the car to run, but if it did it would be alot easier to move around. :)

also if anyone out there has a working auto tranny for cheap let me know

Yep, I have the auto from Brian's (GoFast85) 88 coupe.  He says it works fine, but I never installed it.  I'm out near Almonte. It's only in the way now........

You are taking out the 84 4 and putting in a 88 4?

Puting 88 2.5l into the one Fiero that had a blown engine and prepping the other for a 3800SC swap. Figured if no one buys my 3800SC Fiero I will fully restore the one 84 to eventually get the 3800SC. If I sell 3800SC car then I will still restore the 84 and get another 3800SC for it. Considering building up a very highly modded 3800SC with a standard trannt strictly for racing and use the 84 with the 88 4cyl as a daily driver.
