Title: Excellent Headliner Replacement Article
Post by: fiero308 on May 11, 2004, 09:00:02 am
I have a really good (sounding) article and method on headliner replacement.  Reading it, it sounds quite easy and VERY inexpensive and uses commonly available materials.

No, I haven't tried it myself but if/when I am going to do that, I will follow this one!

I got express permission from the author to copy and distribute it here so if anyone is curious email me and I'll send you a copy.  I have it in WORD and there are no pix (so a short download).
Let me know.  Maybe this will help someone.

yeah that sounds good, email it me, ottawafiero@rogers.com

I plan on replacing mine and have an idea I want to try so I'll see if this will help fit the bill.

My drivers side headliner just started sagging this weekend. Is there any way to glue it back up without taking off the headliner?

But it tickles my head! but seriously though --  crazy glue and a 10 cc syringe

I'd stay away from crazy glue, too runny will soak through the material and make it look like garbage, there is a 3m adhesive that apperently works well

Here's a few threads on the subject

Looks like contact cement is the way to go
