How do you like Carlton Place am looking to relocate to area
and how long would it take you to drive to Woodroffe and Baseline? What kinda Fiero you drive? I have an 85 GT best Fiero ever made of course, but we all know they can all use a little improvements.

My Baby is up on blocks and all stock right now and i like all fiero owners want to raise it to a higher level!
 
First phase of mods will be the ones that cost the least $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

1. polish stock turbine rims, you can polish them to brushed aluminium look or all the way to a high polished chrome look at which point I would put them up against any rims on the market. period!!   compliment with a high quality set of  rubber and (Goodyear Eagles 215/60R14) enough said!!

Can post detailed instruction for this as i have already done this and its AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have other low cost mods in mind lets swap some ideas cause sounds like you have future big plans for your baby too

                                           

ROFLMAO.  I'm waiting for Kitten to reply to this, given what her idea of raising a Fiero to a higher level is.   ;D
 

Been there, done that.  Media blaster & clear laquer.  Much better than 20 year old yellowed & flaking laqueur.

I'm still looking for an alchemist and/or metalurgist who can make them grow to 16" or 17" diameter though.  I have yet to find an aftermarket rim that I like the look of enough to sink the money into it.

I don't actually live in Carleton Place ..... I'm on the outskirts :) much quieter and not as crowded!!  As for how long it would take to drive to Woodroffe and Baseline that all depends on how badly you want to keep your license ;)  But if you can mange to keep your foot from flatening the peddle it would take about 30-60 minutes.  There are a number of different routes, that's why there's such a range in travel time.

As for what kind of fiero I have well technically we have two :) Mine is an 84 (I only got it a couple months ago), still pretty much stock at this point.... and my husband has an 85-6cyl, with a couple of little mods so far.  Mine will have a lot of mods when I'm done though ;D but that will have to wait until we have a bigger garage.

hmmm... raising a fiero to a higher level.... well mine will definitely be at a higher level when I'm done  ;D

The stock rims are actually quite nice when they are cleaned up.  We took a set in and had them sandblasted a while back, they looked wonderful after they were done!!  I'm probably gonna do the same to my summer rims next year if I can.

an aftermarket rim i would sink my money into either.
Love the look of the stock turbine esp. polished up!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Firebirds had a turbine rim 16" in size but studs dont line up and would be considerable work to makem fit, but not impossible. Need to look into it more.

For those not familiar with polishing up stock rims or any crudy looking aluminium rims I will post detailed instruction under the mod section. Its easy enough to do once you know how just time consuming.
