Title: Club Status Post by: Sentinel on September 18, 2003, 10:50:56 pm I thought this was really intresting:
http://www.fierodrivers.com/forum/index.php?board=;action=stats (http://www.fierodrivers.com/forum/index.php?board=;action=stats) Anyway we should try to have a big turnout for the last meeting, I think we should try to hammer out things a little better for the structure of the club, the next meeting will be Oct 4th, I'll get all the details together, any preference of local? Title: Re:Club Status Post by: Sentinel on September 19, 2003, 12:00:38 am oh yea I almost forgot to welcome the new mad posters AKA and Bootmachine and all you other folks who have joined in the past month or so. Sorry for not getting around to this sooner.
Now unfortunately I've seen some rather unpleasant exchanges of late , me not so happy :( . Over the last 2 years we've been growing and we still have a long way to go, but, we are quite the diverse group of peope here, and that's one of the reasons why it's such a great club, from 18 year olds to well however old Old Man Buzz is ;) , people from all different walks, from the tech experts like Eric, Tyler, Dan and Nick and everyone else who have tackled their own projects to well me the anti tech apperently. And with this spectrum of folks assembled the one central point I've found throughout has been respect of each other regardless of knowledge or preferences, it's about Fiero's and whatever else that comes up. Now almost everyone has alternate cars here, and it's in guys nature to crack on each other, trust me everyone who ever saw that Aerostar of mine(may it burn in hell) will realized it was warranted, but keep in mind with all these guys it's good natured, persistant , but good natured. So I'd like to see the forum stay active it's great to see and a real testament to Chris and Nicks work, it's an awesome source of knowledge, opinions, a place to find help from those who are gracious enough to lend their time, knowledge and tools, I've drawn on it may times and am thankful for everyone who has helped me, and that's the way it should be. I don't want any new members coming in and seeing threads of folks blasting each other. So if you still need to blast on each other , please use the PM function, trade emails, phone #'s whatever, just keep it off the forum. And this isn't to say we can't disagree, hell that's healthy, but lets keep it in good taste, and try to get something productive out of it, instead of merely stating that Fords are crap, not that I'd argue that statement ;) back it up with some fact like Aerostar's caught fire 3x's more than Fiero's(that is a fact). Whew, ok Think I'm done yappin now Steve Title: Re:Club Status Post by: Boy-z on September 19, 2003, 10:07:52 am GOOD! ...........................................JUST KIDDING

Title: Re:Club Status Post by: Sentinel on September 19, 2003, 06:46:57 pm Bootmachine, of course it's cool if you show up, I'm the founder and still never shown up to a meeting with my Fiero, so that doesn't matter.
And don't worry, we don't bite, well at least most of us. ;) Eric I planned to have it earlier than usual, then everyone going could head over hmmm maybe The Prescott could be a place to go before |
