At the end of "Car Crazy" (Speed Channel), a letter was read from a person who owns an '87 Fiero GT down in Florida.  They guy was relaying a story about having a BMW pull up beside his little $2,000 car at a set of lights and being told how much the guy always love Fieros.  The writer said it doesn't matter if you have a high end import or a cheap little domestic, it is about the love of cars.

Anyway, just wanted to share that with you guys.

Oh...and the trivia question was something along the lines of what made the (can't remember the year) Corvette distinctive.  Was it the taillights that were:  A) Round, etc.   The answer was "Square" which I guessed because the ZR-2 is modelled after the Corvette.

Cheers, Derek

Search about for some of the chatter after the fall cruise, where we ran in to a few Beemer owners at a gas station on the return leg.  No odd looks, no disparaging comments, just genuine interest.

The moral of the story--real car people are cool.   Afro
