Would a 87 4 cyl. auto work in 84, sensors? same drivetrain except roller lifters thanks Tom

According to Dan it should be the same.  If you are still in doubt, call GM or NAPA and see if the part numbers are the same.

87/88 used a different throttle cable and had ignition modules over distributors so no the 87 duke will not work in an 84 to 86 Fiero with out some wiring work, an ECM change and a different throttle cable. Dan

I think he's just talking about the transmission?  Maybe not.
