Was fooling around with an 84 Fiero 4 speed shifter, sort of redesigned it to work with a shifter knob off a 70's Trans Am. Was going to use it before I decided to just get a 5 speed instead, now I no longer need it so any one in need of a 4 speed shifter like this. Will get a photo up later. Dan

If you're talking about that little short one you showed me last weekend, I'm pretty sure I can find a home for it.  Smiley

Anyone who has a Fiero shifter and wants to shorten it should do this.............

Grind (finally) the welds off the shifter shaft.  Throw away the fat shifter that few knobs fit.  Cut a suitable shifter off at your local stablishment and bend to suit and weld back on the Fiero unit.  Voila! Aftermarket knobs galore.

Thanks!   Afro

I switched the shifter in the '85 to the shorter '84 shaft a while back, but that one's still too long for my liking.
