Title: 2ML67 parts run
Post by: 2ML67 on June 24, 2004, 10:54:13 am
Not sure when I will get a chance to get to Gary's for a full day to help him as I am very busy right now. If the people wanting parts can all get together say Saturday night at Hooters in Bell's corners then I can bring up the stuff. That would be mr tourismo, poupos, don, rebel and Fiero 308. If most or all can attend I will come with the parts. Seeing as I am driving 3 hours one way lame excuses will not be accepted. Dan

try this again
it wouldn't accept my posts earlier.  Just sat there and looked at me.

Dan: you are the one who has run all over the province and got the parts and are then saying you will do a drive both ways; YOU call the shots here and I will make it fit.  If I can't do that, then I will simply wait until you have the time and inclination to visit GAry and at that time I will get my parts and THANK you for all your effort and time by the way ANYway!!!!!!!!
so there.

I should be around Saturday Dan,  I'll run in to Hooters (no pun intended) with you.  The parts left over can come home with me.

I'll call tonight..

I am going to have to get a new calendar or watch or sundial or something...... what Saturday are we talking about?  Ie a DATE?  I assumed it would be the 26th June; the notes were from about the 24th and I thought they implied "THIS" saturday....... which is the 26th I figgered........ ???
Let me know when you'll be there, Dan and I will go out again.  I guess I got confuzzed.

I was there from just before 6 till after 10, guess the lack of Fiero's in the parking lot was misleading. besides my car or should I say my axles do not like that lot. Not a problem shifter is at Gary's. Dan

hooters at bells corners?
yesterday, Saturday the 26th?  June?
hoo boy, I need to get checked out.  This isn't good.
i was there from just about 6:08 till after 6:45; ummm, yeah, in the PM.... it was virtually empty......  like almost totally empty.  Kinda surprising .....  I thought it would have had a ..... steady clientele..... ;)

??? just strange....

Sorry I missed you Dan as It is aways good to shoot the breese. Had to make a trip to Merrickville at 5. I was back by 9 and I should have tried you there but assumed that you were gone by then.  You stayed at Gay's that night or drove straight back?

No problem Don its not too far off main road to your place. I did notice the white Fiero, looks pretty good but would be better with a 3800SC in there. HEE HEE. Dan

Oh do I detect a slight challenge here, will have to put all that nice after market stuff back on. Some one has to teach these young pups a lesson after all. Dan

That wet NOS kit has to be hooked up to the fuel rail. Will have to see if I need an adapter to hook it up to the shrader valve. It will be a tight squeeze for that 10 lbs bottle in the trunk!

So I'm not the only one who heard the distinct "clink" of a gauntlet being thrown?   ;D

a "clink!?"  boy, THAT was the unmistakeable (can't spell mistake lol) SMACK! of a face being slapped IN PUBLIC!!!!  That is what that was.....

And drawing blood, to boot.  (Boots?, I thought we were talking about gloves?)

So skirmish lines are no doubt being drawn as these worthy and grim adversaries pace around the battlefield, eyeing each other and looking for that chance to leap in and place that telling blow.......  gathering their supporters and seconds to aid them as they prepare to protect and defend their very honour!

I can hardly wait to see what these contestants have in store for each other.  It will be nasty, no doubt......

 ;D ;D ;D
