Rob I don't think you want to spend that kind of money right now. I was talking about my 86 SE with the 1998 3800SC and 4T65E set up. Kinda stuck on the idea of doing up an 88 now for my self that is.

Went and saw it today.. Its an '86 BASE coupe.. cept it has a wing... which would make it a 5 speed Isuzu with the 2.5l, no price yet, looks like minimal rust.. but the interior doesnt look good!

Do your self a large favour look with good light up in behind plastic wheel well inserts for hidden rust. Also push on insulation in engine compartment with hand if it sounds crackly its rotted same with trunk carpet. Lots of places for rust to hide on these cars. I am not trying to insult your knowledge of these cars, if you would like I can go with you to look it over between the two of us everything should be found.

Yea, I know all the places that rust likes to hide in these cars! Ive got one on stands out in my garage thats going to be a parts car cause its so damaged in the trunk/frame rails that I just dont have the desire to fix. but the rear body is all off!

Im not planning on buying this car now, but I will go back and have a good look at all the places and find out price and milage just in case someone else is interested.

Sorry Rob, due to the business taking off faster than anticipated, I need to sell the car ASAP UNFINISHED. ie: restored frame with GT package, no engine and no interior.

I need the space in my garage for customers cars.

Asking $500 for the frame. (alot of cash invested in the urathane paint for the frame)

Cheers!
