I doubt it.  Maybe you could just get someone to help push the car.  Grin

In combination with other mods the bigger bore throttle body is worth it, but on its own, I would say no. Now if you got a header, and ported out the head and did some intake work, you may find it worth the bigger bore.  It has to be part of a package, its no wonder mod!

yeah for $350US I don't think you get much increase,  for $350 you can get a pile of Type-R stickers Wink

I've heard some say boost the 92 horses to 110-120 but others mentioned not that much

If you go on PFF you will find thousands of threads, some suggest Cam swap, check it out. Was never intended to be a powerful engine and there are restrictions, plus with gas prices may not be a bad idea to mod for mileage.

CaddyRob is right; it will only pay off if it is done in conjunction with other mods that create freer flow - head porting, maybe intake manifold porting; headers or improved exh system; and a CAM to make the engine breathe deeper.  By itself (if you go TOO big) it might even create driveability problems - air velocities at idle and low spd might not be high enough etc.
Good luck and keep us posted on what you do and how it turns out!
