I will be picking up a '86SE on Mon., it has sat for awhile. The starter is shot. I have not heard the car run, if it runs. Anyone have a old 2.8 starter they would like to part with for pretty cheap. I dont know if I will try to get it on the road or use it for parts, so I dont really want to spend a large amount on a starter.
                              Thanks

you can fit a starter from a 3.8 or an 3800 from a buick or an olds if you want to,there is lots of these in the salvage yards
mine is running with one ,
you will gain about 25 p.c. torque,

p.s. ive been working into starters and alternators for 15 years, beleve me it works!
