Post by: FIERO-JOE on September 30, 2016, 07:48:58 am
hey all I'm about to put in the tri-light breaking lights and turn lights, seen on the newer mustangs..
our fiero's have the same 3 light systems.. and well.. I can only assume the wiring systems are the same..
wish me luck..

Did you buy a kit? There was a plug and play kit available at one time.

Yes there was something, not sure if it's still available, but I do know that dguy installed something like that on his Fiero.

Yes, I nstalled a sequential turn signal on our '85 many years ago, (arguably) before it became a "thing" on Mustangs.

It was a relatively simple task - the notchback Fiero's three parallel-wired 2057 bulbs original connection to the rear light harness was cut, such that each ended up having a separate connection to the sequencing module.  If my memory is working there really wasn't much to the install if you are comfortable with side cutters and a soldering iron.

Just happened to see this on Pennocks

If you look under the sequential tail light section they have ones for fiero's

the new mustang tri tail lights are NOT adaptable to our cars PERIOD. Maybe off an 86-89 cougar,T bird.etc would work with a lot LESS werk
